Looks like some of the Tower Defense games I've played.
It does, and it's going to feel like it too in some ways, but instead of trying to make something they hadn't seen before, we decided to take what people knew and then reinvent it all from there. We don't want people to just be able to take a screen-shot of the best method of beating a level and then pass it around. It's going to be a lot more dynamic than that.
My B-day is in July, I'll count this as a present... Besides, this game does sound pretty awesome. Especially original code. It's like digital meth.
