I'd like to know why more flash animation "professionals" don't make more shit on their own time and submit it to sites like this. maybe they're just too burnt out at the end of the day.
I can think of quite a few actually. They're just lesser known, but their work has been in collaborations and what not. Nalem brought up this exact same topic not too long ago, and since then I've been keeping tabs. We've got people like Princess-Aurora, Skaijo, Nalem, ajax50, Gate-keeper-girl, silly-stungun-millie, DISTRACT-A-BEE and I think from memory nanokostudio was female.
Also remember Joanime and how everyone scared her off with the "NG is a boys playground" attitude? Because I do.
You managed to name a few. But other than Joanime, I can't think of any that rose to their own notability the likes of any male artists. The fact that I've never heard of any of them is telling.

I'm a female, and I go on Newgrounds everyday. We may not be as vocal, but we are around. I'm not the best flash artist in the world, but I try my best. I want to make a place for myself on Newgrounds someday, and prove that females are just as good as males at creating funny and unique content.

Sadly this place is quite dick central, although its funny, hell i still draw penises on my freinds maths book, just for the hell of it, and i get into mess fights at school, this is a very male commuinity.
Female animators will be the only way to mature Newgrounds if we have enough because it does get repetitive after awhile seeing Cock jokes in animations.
