I honestly don't think blacks are voting for Obama just because he's black. I just think it's easier for them to recognize how good of a candidate he is because he's not completely seperated by culture.

the elections are one month before i turn 18. how frustrating is that? if i was of age to vote, however, i would vote for Obama. i haven't really looked into his views on religion or whatever, but as long as it doesn't get in the way of governing our country, i don't care what religion he follows. an openly Atheist president would be nice, though :P

A political comment sparks pandemonium...Might as well jump in...I don't like Hillary because she (and look at her pictures) is basically the reincarnation of Mao Tse-Tung. Goodbye blue and white, hello red (she's even got the stars to work with). I have nothing against women or blacks but...I have something against, like I said, Hillary, and Obama. Obama's votes are mostly from (statistically) surprise, other blacks. Nothing wrong with that, I'm not persecuting him for it. But, why do they vote for him? Number One Reason? He's black. What about his politics? I don't care. He's black. And I would like to say, not all say this...but most do. We even have some problems on the republican side. Huckabee is actually the one getting the blue collar votes. He gets the bible belt for simply his former pastor...nship. Statistically. And yes, the overall winner of the primary, McCain, has problems. But I would like to point out, he was a POW (So he has some experience in torture and moral values) and he (ready for this?) has his own independent views. He's not all left. He's not alright. Shocking, he's in the gray area. Vote for who you want to, but the country doesn't need another "I voted for her/him because he/her is of the faith/a woman/black." Give some reasons...For the love of...whoever is up there...
