It was alright

Too short, even for a short. It was a funny joke, but it, again, would have worked better if it was about 10 seconds longer. Pretty good graphics, only this type of visual style is becoming tiring. Nothing super original about it, but not much bad. Pretty good though.

sandman0277 responds:

Yeah it was a tad bit too short for even my liking, but whatever... My next mission is to branch out into more areas of humour and graphics that haven't been beaten over the head here on NG =P

Awesome

The graphic quality is getting great in Blockhead's world now. Everything was sharp and pretty and refined (except his conscience, who remains a little choppy and crude looking). Lots of funny physical comedy. Blockhead is impossible not to love.

The-Swain responds:

Haha, you know, the more I think about re-drawing the Conscience, the more inclined I am to slap the pen out of my own hand. The message of Blockhead is this: nothing will ever get better for the Conscience, not even his appearance.

I want to animate him a bit more next time, though. The only time you ever get to see him move was in Ep.2 with a mediocre walk cycle and a 3-frame sit motion. Boooo.

I promose more for the Conscience in the future. More, but not better.

Really cool

The Time Squad series is like a full short film. Cool. I was writing a long storyline for Ingus. I'm not sure if I'll do it, but this is pretty inspiring to actually do it.

The art was pretty good. I had a few problems occassionally with the side view of the heads. hey looked weird and were a often shaped differently than they should have been (ear placement, jaw line, width), but I'm a bit of a stickler for that kind of thing, so no one else would even care -- or probably even notice at all -- so it doesn't matter. Overall, it was funny and weird. It makes me want to make my storylined cartoon all the more. Nice job!

The-Swain responds:

I know what it can be like to take a movie from inspiration throught the path of motivation up to final completion, especially if you consider yourself an idea person more than an art person. That's how it is for me, and if your problems are anything like mine, then it's hard to actualize after the moment when you've thought the idea through.

Hell, especially writing for a moron...Blockhead's blatant ADD kept him wandering through the movie without asking questions, just as Ingus is bound to have an opinion about what he's doing without giving the viewer absolutely any idea of what it is. I try to animate by the moment without worrying about what's going to happen or what has happened already (this keeps the cartoon fun for me, just as I hope it is fun for people watching it for the first time). If you really love your idea, you're gonna see it through to the end, and I look forward to when that happens.

Wow

It's like a crappy Happy Tree Friends.

Tastyrat responds:

Thanks for your review :)

Very weird

Everything in this was funny, just too little, and too short. Still, it was very amusing stuff. I can't wait for another one.

CalicoMonkey responds:

I will be investigating ways to make the episodes longer.

Thank you for the comments.

Awesome

I like that you didn't do too much of the trapping of other people at the beginning, and that you moved onto the big trap at the end. The effect was really nice with the BB gun. Great job. I hope the next one is as good.

Knox responds:

thanks KupaMan :)

Pretty good

Not really enough jokes, though. It was moreso just not liking Wikipedia's decisions. You're over emphasizing the second 'i' in Wikipedia. Also, I can't quite understand why someone would be upset that their entry was deleted from a free encyclopedia in which one adds themselves to. Besides, couldn't you just add yourself again? The point of this flash was stupid, but it was still a pretty solid cartoon. 8/10.

JKR responds:

I'm not really upset that my entry got deleted. I am upset about the WAY they deleted it. Comments such as "non-notable" and "you fail" do not help anyone to improve and only hinder growth. It is akin to the people who review Newgrounds entries with "You suck!" and nothing else. How is that supposed to help anyone?
Anyway, glad you liked the cartoon okay, and thank you for the thought out review.

I'm getting a little pissed off.

We've all had our fair share of Foamy rammed in our faces and even the older fans are beginning to creep away, but it doesn't help to have 3 parodies to every 1 Neurotically Yours cartoon. I'll give it to you that you made some pretty nice graphics and some okay jokes, but you all need to stop with the Foamy parodies. There's probably just as many parodies as there are actual Neurotically Yours episodes. These people need to quit bitching and just make an original cartoon or something, rather than exerting this much energy just to bash an animator that everyone's already stopped liking. You obviously have the talent, so stop wasting it on stuff like this.

RupeeClock responds:

This was a one off, aight?
I usually don't waste my talent like this on other people. ;)

I like to draw and complain about stuff.
