Holy cow!

This was pretty awesome, and not just because a certain raw egg vendor was present (thanks, by the way). The animation throughout was very good, and everything involving the spray paint was hilarious. Blockhead's holiday is a hundred times better than that other holiday close-by that will not be named. This pumps me up for what to expect for Blockhead Episode 11. Great job on this one.

I thought I wrote a review already

So very true. I have a Tablet PC now, though. So, problem solved.

Very nice loop. The art wasn't super great, but it was tweened well, and the joke was good. I didn't know you were a southpaw.

Very true

I love Heroes, but that's basically what the show is. Particularly Claire Bennett. Who gets hurt that much?

Even though this was just "animated" comic book pictures, it was done well, and the voices were entertaining (Mohinder was spot-on) and the facial expressions matched. I may just buy this comic.

Hilarious

Well-timed ending made it a gem, too. The graphics were obviously not going for a showdown with Bitey, but they were effective and nice in a sketchy sort of way. Very funny stuff and exactly the right length.

That was amazing

Jason Steele and Krinkels would be proud. It was pretty true to the Madness one, and made very interesting with unicorns. This thing is underrated. The screen size is the only issue with this cartoon. Otherwise, funny stuff.

Thanks XD

A worthy #2

Everyone was pretty mad that the original #2 (1.5) was so short, so it's great this one was long to make up for it. And this was incredibly funny to boot. The ending was hilarious, and the easter egg was great too. I hope it doesn't take as long as it's been to get episode 3. Also, it would be cool, if it's possible with all the licensed stuff used, to make a TANKMEN DVD eventually. They could be prizes for monthly stuff.

id make a dvd...i need to stop using copyrighted music though

A step up from PALADIN

The overall quality was good for Newgrounds stuff. I liked not seeing mega-buff meat-sack dudes. I have to complain, in terms of visuals, that all the faces look pretty much the same. Your problem is that you can't escape cliches. Everything you make is bogged down with the same cheesy stuff I've seen on everything. Seeing people cry in cartoons is just annoying. A lot of artists use it without giving a good lead up; it's so commonly just used to force that emotion on people. Now, I know you had that whole broken family thing, but, again, cliche'd up the yang.
As much as it fit the cliche, cheesiness, I did like the ending. I have to admit I love ending at the beginning.

Funny, but...

The thing that really killed this cartoon for me was the terrible lip syncing. It's not just that it didn't look like it matched up, but that the mouth shapes were just unfitting. It just looked like their jaws were always open and just their lips moved. Also, the cartoon didn't go anywhere hilarious. It just stayed at a level of amusement, simply because it was unique, but not because it was entirely fascinating.

Frogcloset responds:

fair point.

dont know what happened with the syncing, put a lot of effort into it but just couldn't get the get the mouths right also think i over did the jaw movement.

Ill take unique as a victory.

thanks

Really well animated

It all looked very great and every shot was creatively and effectively done; not lessened for ease (of which I'm guilty of all the time). The actual subject matter I found uninteresting and overdone. The Cyberpunk roller-blading future stuff was ruined for me with Jet Set Radio Future and several Japanese cartoons I didn't even want to watch in the first place (not a fan of anime).
In short, you showcased some amazing skills and will effectively entertain your audience, but probably won't catch the attention of many non-anime fans save for those taking a peek at your skills presented therein.

I don't know why you needed three

Oh well. Three cartoons that took almost no time and weren't completely terrible is pretty good.

Kuoke responds:

Indeed. I need three because ... well I don't know what the word for '2 part series' where as 3 is a trilogy, so meh.

I like to draw and complain about stuff.
