Slow-paced and unimpactful, but nice artwork
A cartoon about a killed gunman sounds pretty cool, but wasn't executed to meet what I'd have liked it to. It's all very slow and drawn out. It clear that the images drawn on-screen are used longer than they need to just to squeeze out as much from them as can be, which is understandable, as they probably took a fair amount of time. The story could have been cool if there was a sense of importance. A majority of this cartoon lacks music or ambiance, which makes the final product feel unfinished. The shot of the cheating poker player being killed is ripped clearly from the identical one in Pan's Labyrinth. This could have been an homage, but I don't see the significance of that connection. I hope this series improves, as some nice artwork accompanying something executed better would be very entertaining to watch. Good luck.
