A new kind of flash cartoon

It's uncommon to see a flash cartoon with a serialized storyline, an appropriate balance of action and oddball humor, bound in a simple yet attractive, consistent art style. I would have gone with a 9/10, but I appreciate the achievement here. It makes me happy to see things like this with an overall glossing of quality in its various production realms.

An ambitious production

That was awesome, to say the least. Cleverly written, expertly illustrated, and impressively read, this storybook was amazing. I only hope this is an example for what is to come of more storybooks, and not the only good one to come.

Charming cartoon, impressive feat

I enjoyed this too much to give it anything less than a 10. There were things that could have been done better, like the image quality or a few moments in the animation, but the work really shows, and the "flaws" seem to add to the freneticism of the thing. It's far more daunting than I could ever allow myself to do. There are clearly no retakes for each frame, and not really any way to mask a mistake. Very impressive stuff.

The subject matter itself, if it can be called that, assisted the nature of the animation technique employed expertly. The music fit perfectly and reminded me of fluid, reaction-based video games from my childhood. It was hard not to be happy throughout.

I said too much, I think. I'll give my Newgrounds truncation of this review: AWESOME LOL.

An epic installment

This series continues to impress me even after seven years. Seven years! An impressive feat for anything, let alone an animated flash series.

There isn't much to be said of it other than it is an impressive episode that pushes the newly important narrative forward through various wordless scenes of violence. Great stuff.

Unnecessary

This "sidequel" feels mostly pointless in the Jerry cartoons. I was excited to see the stories cross paths and whatnot, but then it sort of spoiled the impact of Jerry. I really shouldn't compare the two because, alone, this is very entertaining. But as a companion, it feels dedicated to destroy the belief that you may have a heart.
