[Drawn Dream 8]

Honestly...

If there was like 100 minutes of Drawn Dream, I'd truly buy it. It would be so cool to have. Anyway, great episode. I love how all of the characters always look. The slow-motion death scene was cool. I am shaking with anticipation for the next. I'm not literally shaking, but I'm at that mental level, about.

Good, except

A lot of the animation looked like it was either traced atop a real video clip or over Poser animation, particularly the movement of the guy's face in the closing shot. Still, it looks nice, if messy. Overall, pretty good.

Hahah! Well, there were some rotoscoped parts. The legs of the two men running, and the girl turning and running away. As well as the hand that clenches shut in the KIN trailer PART 1.

As for the guy at the ending shot, that was not a poser model. It was my 3D model I made in 3D max for my advanced modeling class in college. I just skinned his head to a simple skeleton and just animated his head and moved the camera. I don't really like poser, I like making all my models and animating them from scratch. If you go to my DA site, you'll see the 3D model sheets of that particular character, but without textures. I didn't have time to texture him for the class...good thing it was only a modeling class. :D

VAT ZEES!!!?

It's one of the few actually well-made and nice looking sprite flash I've seen, and yet its score is much lower than a lot of them get to be (well, at least as of now, which it's at like a 4.06. Maybe in a week from now it'll be super high-scoring. Who knows?). Nice job. Everything was done smoothly and uncrappily. I enjoyed it.

[Apartment 51 - Short #5]

I really like Apartment 51

The past few episodes and all these shorts have all been really great. They're a very fun lighthearted cartoon series that you don't get to see much more of anymore on NG, and at least not this soon together. Great work. Though, I don't like the Pig logo. If it isn't Spanky Ham, it looks a hell of a lot like him. I think that logo could be revamped. Anyway, that's all from me. Keep it up. Bye.

Nice Anti-Clock Day Flash

Very nice looking cartoon. I don't know how much of a success this holiday will be, but this is a nice installment to it. Great way to kick things off.

[TANKMEN-Snakes on a Plane]

A good use of audio and visuals

Awesome. Of the many crappy TANKMEN parodies, this is a good one. Though it made little sense to use an old Samuel L. Jackson audio clip and put it to TANKMEN characters, it was still funny.

A nice way to go out

Pretty nicely done. It's a good way to end it. I wish the whole thing was just a bit longer. The "SS Haters" message was kind of funny. I'd say 'keep up the good work,' but obviously not. Bye.

Ha ha ha

A very funny short. The artwork is looking better and better. I liked how it seemed set up to begin another movie, but then just cut off. That's the first time that cop has ever said his name. How did he even know it? Whatever. I hope another episode is coming soon.

You're dead right on that. In fact, in all of Blockhead, I believe only the Scientist has ever said his name. The cop refers to Blockhead as "little one", but when you can travel through time, there's no telling what the limit is to what you can learn.

Though...how did they gain the ability to travel through time in the first place, I wonder?!

[TooF Staring Contest]

Better...

I'm not sure if I just missed it, but it looks like the not 'cracked out' TooF's eyes look messed up, like you fucked up on a masking or something. I'm sure it's a quick fix (if it is a mess-up). Overall, it was okay. Kind of funny. No annoying accents, which is always a good thing. Neat little explosion. Why doesn't this person who's mouth this is ever feel anything like this? Also, why are they all molars? Why can't there be like canines and incisors and stuff? Anyway, I'm actually starting to be okay with this series. Before I found it boring and a little annoying. These "roots" you're getting at I think are the better way to go.
