Incredible

Once again, the awesome writing and hilarious voice work makes up for the wonky looking characters and stiff animation. I love how the Steve series capitalizes on being fun and funny, rather than hardcore action or shit humor. I hope the next episode doesn't take 20 months. Good luck.

Great animation

The animation went from good to great. The Great Dane looked pretty awesome. I look forward to more stuff from this animator.

Holy shit

This is the first Halloween cartoon I've seen so far this year, but I really doubt it's going to get shaken off the top of my list. It's perfect in so many ways. It's more than just a great Halloween cartoon; it's an all-around great cartoon. There's a reason you're one of my favorite authors.

Short, but awesome

Your art style still rules. The cartoon was pretty short, but it looked nice enough and was pretty funny. I'd like to see these more frequently, but they're still enjoyable.

A remarkable tribute

This is by far the most visually pleasing of the Madness Day tributes I've seen today. The look seems to borrow Stamper's line style, which is okay, because it looks gorgeous. I wish there could have been more going on sound-wise, but it's not detrimental as it stands. Overall, great stuff.

What?

There was no real joke, no events, no nothing. There wasn't even animation really. Twenty seconds of a guy wiggling in place as he held a list, if that counts as animation. I was really disappointed with this submission. There was nothing to appreciate, with the exception of nice audio quality. The visuals weren't ugly, but they were so uneventful and lacking detail that it didn't seem to matter. I wouldn't suggest that this cartoon reflected the abilities of this author, because I know that they are capable of much more than what was presented here.

I hope not to see more of this and instead see harder work from this author, and from Madness Day 2008.

I didn't mention this anywhere, but I did it for beating up boredom, nothing else.

ps.
the animation is really cheap ass, only few layers with tweening, I didn't intend to put much effort in to it, nor am I trying to get attention with it.

Hopefully the next ACTUAL project will please you more.

A decent bit

The animation was pretty good and thankfully unique, as opposed to just copying Krinkels' graphics. The joke was funny enough, but the execution could have been better. The post-credits joke was funny, but I'm sure will be lost to people who haven't seen the reference first.

Overall, a strong enough submission.

Wonchop responds:

Yeah it was more for Tom than it was for like...normal people.

Exemplifying the spirit of Madness

A truly heart wrenching take on the Krinkels series. Never before in such a profound way has the idea of Hank's killing spree been covered in such an intimate fashion through the death of a single foe. With the phrase "You shot me" resonating throughout the brief but significant piece, it is now that the viewer understands what it means to be on the receiving end of this protagonist's revenge, and the cost of Madness...

Great song, appropriate artwork

I liked the shanty feel to the song and, even though it re-used a few of the same jokes in itself, it had very catchy lyrics. The visuals could have been more sophisticated, but they fit nonetheless, and still provided a means to get the jokes across well enough.

thanks brow! Appreciate it

Amazing

Very funny stuff. I love the Yotam style a lot. I look forward to more RWD flash in the future.

LazyMuffin responds:

Sweet, glad you liked it.

I like to draw and complain about stuff.
