[The Final Act]

An interesting exercise

Much like a mime, this film had nothing to say. But even still, it was a worthwhile distraction. Perhaps not worthy of lingering on for too long, but enough to incorporate into a portfolio.

The render quality is really nice, and the compression is even more impressive. This is the standard other Newgrounds video submissions should be expected to be on par with.

Great facial expressions

Great stuff to be had. The animation had that nice poppy feel to it. The cartoon was a lot longer than expected it would be -- too long in some spots -- and had a lot to cover. Cat farts are always gold.

Great, punky little cartoon

Cool stuff. I loved the art style. It could have been longer, but I'm alright with it the way it is.

Great stuff

Altogether funny cartoon. The art for the first half of the cartoon reminded me a lot of Flapjack, which rules. The second half was simple and hilarious. This is in my top five of this season's cartoons.

A Newgrounds Holiday Classic

The songs were all quite good. I was tricked into thinking it was over after the first song, not realizing it was a cold opening. The visuals were simple and served their purpose, but they could have been executed better. Everything else brought it up to a ten, though. The music was well-written and original (though Jason Statham's last song kept reminding me of Kristina She Don't Know I Exist, for whatever reason), and the lyrics were funny.

You have impressive talent, sir. You're the only real competition with Adam Phillips (ADAM PHILLIPS!) for best Christmas short of 2008.

A great conclusion

When this series started so long ago, it was just a happy-go-lucky love story. It evolved into something different; something that acknowledged the taboos of interracial relationships and segregated views of who we can love. The series got serious, embracing the realities of what actually happens when you saw against the grain. Then, here, we see them take a stand to say they don't care, executed with a remarkable style and understanding of color and pace. This is a great conclusion to one of Newgrounds' best series.

Creepy, confusing

I don't know what the message was of this, and I don't know if there was one, but the execution was creepy and effective. The cartoon deserves credit for that alone.
