Nice job

Very funny joke, done well. Not bad. It could have used some better movement, but it worked well. So, great going.

CowPuncherProduction responds:

Thanks for the advice and the 9! :)

I have many problems with this...

For one, you snatched the name of one of them funniest Web Comics out there and then made this thing with its name. Don't take other people's names. I won't believe you if you say you've never heard of it, so don't bother. Another problem, it was way too much (comedy style) like a ripoff of Knox, and (visually) like a ripoff of Over There. However, there was nice animation aside from the mouths, which I liked seeing. The audio was a problem too. It was super quiet. The humor was bland and seemed like a ripoff of many other more successful comedies at first, but then had some good stuff at the end. Overall, it was okay. I'd give you a 6, but for some reason a six is a bad review these days. So a 7 is average.

Freemont responds:

Just to clear some things up:

- The title is a kind of a tribute to the website, which I obviously have heard of, and am a big fan of.

- This was animated in July (before Over There was even submitted) and this has been my animation syle since 2004 anyway! That's the first time I have ever been accused of stealing someone else's animation!

- The humor like Knox's? I don't think so... and I don't think anyone else thinks so either. I work very hard to stay away from Knox's style, and usually pay more attention to not being like Knox, than on the story itself.

- And I don't know why the sound is so low, but hey! That's what volume control is for.

Pretty good

You're quite underrated. Your stuff is pretty smooth, sounds good, gets to the point, and isn't over-the-top, and yet you aren't getting a bunch of awards and babes and money thrown at you. I'm not going to say "you got potential" because I think you've shown that you're past just "potential" and that you've proven yourself to be good, it's just that Newgrounds is a bunch of assholes who aren't watching your stuff like they should. I hope to see more shorts soon and I hope this gets an award and front page and stuff. Nice job.

Shamoozal responds:

Thanks for the very kind words.

Pretty good

The weird spastic things Blockhead has are getting animated better. Everything else is still pretty chunky looking and not so smooth. Overall, a very funny episode. I think you should make a new opening, though. The text with the poor outline and bad jpegs tweened behind them should be replaced with flash vector graphics. Other than that, nice job.

The-Swain responds:

I'm sure you've seen the flash comedy on Newgrounds about new marketing for the old Warner Brothers characters? You know, catering to a young and attention-defeated audience? Well, I was afraid of changing the title routine just because Blockhead is "popular" now. It seems too deliberate and motivated by popularity. Believe me, I have considered it. But if I do change the title stuff, it will be after this summer, when I can consider it a "new season". Then I can change the entire format if needed.

No Blockhead In Space though. Not yet. None of us are ready.

Pretty funny

Some silly "jokes" here. Mostly just an enjoyable flash to watch. It's not one I'd run around and tell my friends about, but I definately don't regret watching it. I think the lip syncing could use some work, though. Still, pretty good flash overall.

Wonchop responds:

Heh, well I started it like 4 days before Val's Day (cos I'm a lazy sod) and my PC's been kinda silly, so I chose to be a lil lazy with the lip sync.

It was good

I don't play WoW, so there may have been some jokes I didn't catch, but it was good either way. It was odd because the whole time I felt it was very LegendaryFrog-inspired and that a lot of voices were suspiciously similar. I didn't think he'd have a part in that because I thought he was making his own WoW flash. I don't know if this was the same one or if he just helped on the side for this, but it was good anyway. Very nice job. It was more lengthy than I expected. I'm used to short little flash on NG (and I contribute to that) so this was a breath of fresh air. Nice job.

Xiphon responds:

Well, he was directly involved in a lot of this movie. He did a few voices, (We split the voices pretty much down the middle) and it's part of the "It Came From World of Warcraft" collection that he founded. He also ran some heavy technical support on this movie, as well as throw in a few of his own jokes. But most of it is mine

Wrong

Evolution is an unconfirmed hypothesis, therefor it is not scientifically acceptable. Which means the chicken was made first to birth the egg of the chicken. Also, British people are weird and say not instead of zero like regular humans.

whataboffin responds:

Actually we say "Naught" not "not" and I would like to remind you that the American Language was originally English.

A good series

I had to give it an 8 in graphics and in overall because A: you used a blur in almost every scene during this flash. B: the anatomical problems still bug me. If you'd actually check out skull measurements and ratio, you'll notice some important things about the head and stuff. That's really the only thing "wrong" with the artwork.I liked the audio, though the voices and script sometimes got to be too much like a Fox Kids action TV show's. This series isn't without its flaws, but inspirational nonetheless. I can't wait for episode 5.

Jazza responds:

yeah, see the funny thing about them having weird anatomy and stuff is...well...they're CARTOONS! lol. ive rarely seen any mice that actually look like mickey mouse but hey.

(glad you still liked it tho)lol

I'm glad someone did it

This wasn't something as good as it should be with a year's work into it. Part 3 better be longer and not take so long to come out. A lot seems to be borrowed from the Decline and the Perfect Kirby series. Some of the jokes and graphical look, that is. There was a lot of problems with camera and such. It didn't feel coherent. It was a little hard to follow, I mean by that. Still, good job. I'm glad someone finally made a Megaman flash that wasn't a sprite movie. I'm also glad that during the sprite part, you didn't rotate any sprites. It's a huge pet peeve of mine when it comes to sprite cartoons. Overall, it was pretty good, if not too short and it seemed to borrow a little too much from greater series' in the category. I really want to see the improvements in part 3.

Eric-S responds:

You got it, Thanks for the Good review!

It was so-so.

I still don't like anime, or hentai for that matter.

Steven-M responds:

Seems fair. Thanks for watching.

I like to draw and complain about stuff.
